Netrebko returns to the state opera
Opera lovers can be happy: The first time after her baby break stands Anna Netrebko on the Vienna state operas' stage again. She plays the title role in Gaetano Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor".

Comeback is together a debut
Netrebko's baby break comes to an end. On Saturday 14th March, a half year after her son's Tiago Arua birth, is she going to make her long-waited comeback at the state opera Vienna.

In the act of Donizetti's opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" she will to be experienced in the title role. Next to her plays George Petean and Giuseppe Filianoti.

The performance is together Netrebko's state opera debut in this role. Netrebko's Comeback-performance is already completely sold-out. Also for the following performanceson 17th, 21st and 24th March are no tickets available anymore.

Highly acclaimed in St. Petersburg and New York
The first performance after her baby break made Netrebko on 14th January of this year at the Russian Sankt Petersburg. She could have been seen there as Lucia, too. Towards to the previously uttered fears, her voice could have lost power in the long break, was the appearance a triumph.

In February sang Netrebko die Lucia-role at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and arranged for waves of excitement there, too.

Last appearance in Vienna in June 2008
The last time the Vienna opera fans could have experienced Netrebko on 27th July 2008. At last challanged she in the social program of the Euro 2008 a gala concert. Together with Rolando Villazón and Plácido Domingo performed she in front of the castle Schönbrunn.

"La Traviata" in May
In Vienna is Netrebko after the four "Lucia di Lammermoor" performances the next time in May. She will be Violetta Valéry in Verdi's "La Traviata" on 04th, 07th and 11th May at the state opera. The ticket sell for this performances begins each with one month in advance.
